Prices quoted include GST, and delivery is quoted separately during checkout. We reserve the right to change our product selections and prices at any time.
Premium Products
Flowers pictured are the STANDARD price shown. Depending on the floral design / item chosen, PREMIUM is defined as an upgraded version. A PREMIUM order is completed by either including more flowers or an overall larger arrangement of the same design. If there are roses incorporated into the design chosen, sometimes roses with a larger head size are used for more impact.
Payment
Payment must be made prior to the production and delivery of your order via VISA or MasterCard.
Delivery Locations
We deliver to any location within the Adelaide metropolitan area.
Same-Day Delivery
We provide same day delivery to the suburbs listed in the delivery schedule. Please order by 11am (Central Standard Time) to guarantee same-day delivery by 5pm for work addresses and 6pm for residential / hospitals.
Prices quoted on the website are for general deliveries only. A priority service is available at an additional cost for more specific delivery timeframes (subject to availability). Please call us directly for options and pricing. Failure to contact us regarding specific requests may result in additional charges applied or a request not able to be fulfilled.
Sunday and Public Holidays: delivery not available. Orders placed on these days default to next business day.
AM deliveries may be requested if ordered 24 hours before. AM is defined as delivery before 12 noon.
PM delivery definition is delivery between 12 noon and 6pm.

Correct delivery details must be provided by client placing the order. We will not be accountable for any claims regarding non-delivery if the details provided to us are incorrect or incomplete and reserve the right to claim any additional re-direction or replacement charges from the client. Correct details are deemed to include: correct address, correct recipient name including surname, recipient contact details provided, business name and/or hospital and ward name provided where applicable, enough information provided for us to gain access to the front door of any requested delivery address.
All effort will be made to deliver your gift, it may be returned to store if there is no access to premises or incorrect details have been provided or if in extreme weather conditions, we are prevented from the gift being left safely.
Returns
As our products are custom made to order, they cannot generally be accepted for return. Returns will only be accepted by prior arrangement with Flowers by Definiton and are subject to a handling fee. Any delivery charges remain the customer's responsibility.
Claims
We pride ourselves on our quality product and service. We use floral couriers and damage in transit is rare. Should you have any issues with damage please contact us immediately.
Flowers are a perishable, natural product that react according to their surroundings. If you are unhappy with the product provided please contact us within 48 hours and we will happily exchange them as long as the care conditions below have been met.
It is expected that the recipient of a floral gift will treat the flowers with the love and care they deserve. We are happy to stand by our product provided to our clients as long as common sense care has been applied to the flowers. E.g. flowers placed in a cool environment, their water kept fresh and full, flowers not placed on top of heaters, or in direct sunlight, or in draughts either warm or cold, not left in the car or placed anywhere in extreme heat or cold.

Availability of product
Due to the seasonal nature of fresh flowers it is sometimes necessary to substitute flowers used in an arrangement with other flowers of the same value. We carefully choose our flowers daily and change the stock we carry to maintain our own high standard of quality at all times. We will endeavour to contact and advise our customer if an order placed cannot be fulfilled closely to what has been selected but reserve the right to make a substitution decision on the customer's behalf in an effort to fulfil and deliver an order in a timely manner so as not to result in a non-delivery.
Cancellation
To cancel an order the customer must contact the shop by phone ( 61 8 8332 4286) before 10am (Central Standard Time) on the day of delivery or in the case of AM requested deliveries and funeral orders by 3 pm the day before.
Flowers with Alcohol
Under the liquor licensing laws deliveries of flowers with alcohol cannot be left either at the door or with a minor and must therefore be returned to store if no-one over 18 is at the delivery address to receive the order.
Privacy
We collect your details so we can contact you about your order if we need to.
Please note that all deliveries are anonymous. If no sender's name is included on a card message when you place the order it is our policy for this order to remain anonymous. Should the recipient request your identity from us we will not disclose this information. Please consider carefully before sending flowers without a sender's name included on the card as, on occasions, it can cause some distress or embarrassment to the recipient and we will not be able to alleviate this situation.
